In the Beginning...
I was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland growing up and versing myself in the theater in both Baltimore and Washington D.C. Having gone to Temple University in Philadelphia hoping to study to become an actor, I fell into stage management on a whim and have stuck with the art form ever since. I graduated with my BA in Theater Studies and a minor in English. I label my self a storyteller and vagabond, keen on travel and sharing experiences with fellow artists. While this site is mainly dedicated to my SM intrepid journey, this page also details some other little odds and ends that I enjoy sharing with you.
Creative Writer, Poet, and Playwright
My second love behind theater is writing. Gotta get use out of that minor somehow amirite? I've taken creative writing class after creative writing class in my time, and have had essays and poems published in two of Temple's student literary journals; Hyphen and Lunar Lit.
I have had plays staged in Temple Theaters Side Stage's Ben Vargas Short Stuff Festival three years in a row from 2021 - 2023. Those one acts being What I Remember from the End of September, From the Other End of Time, and Men's Crew Tryouts.
I am currently working on a new one act that I hope to have completed before the summer entitled Dark Star Fantasy and Science Fiction

Carpentry, Lighting, Design, and Love Baby!
I also have experience in Lighting, Props, and Scenic design, having taken all the available undergraduate courses available to me in my time at school. I am skilled at hanging, focusing, and rigging for lighting and sound instruments, and I am very handy at carpentry and scenic painting. I also know my way around lighting and sound boards, having come across them through both a stage management and designer lens. Design is a field I hope to always expand my horizons in, and learn new things.
Equine Sports, Canine Barks, and Animal Handling
My oldest love is for horses and the sport of horseback riding. I have a deep for love animals in general, being around horse barns, kennels, pet stores, and day cares through most of my working days. In college I rode Equitation for Temple's Equestrian Club Team, in the Limit fences and flat classes. I also have 3 years of experience as a dog handler in daycare environments. I have worked with upwards of 60 little barkers at a time, being able to handle behavior, care, playtime, and what not.
Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
I am a huge Star Trek fan, and one thing from the shows I try to practice in my own life is the Vulcan philosophy of IDIC. Meaning "Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations," I believe that the wide range of human identity is beautiful, and the art we create is beautiful. I hope to further lift up my fellow artist by supporting stories of any and all people, from any walk of life, with no discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual identity, or gender identity. The more we collaborate to create something beautiful together, the more combinations we can forge.
"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself..."
