Stage Manager
Stage Manager
My name is Danny Kandra, and I am a stage manager and creative artist. I am a personable, empathetic, work oriented mind that has spent all my life in the theater. I fell in love with stage management in college, learning that any contribution to a production is valuable, and that anything I can do for the stage is an effort worth while. Gaining that ethos, I have moved forward with compassion to others in the space, as well as for myself in all my creative endeavors.
I believe there is art in all human things. Creation is facilitated through the collaborative effort of many unique individuals with their own experience. Stage Management is my medium for achieving this, bringing people together to tell our story as a collective.
I am a huge Star Trek fan, and one thing from the shows I try to practice in my own life is the Vulcan philosophy of IDIC. Meaning "Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations," I believe that the wide range of human identity is beautiful, and the art we create is beautiful. I hope to further lift up my fellow artist by supporting stories of any and all people, from any walk of life, with no discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual identity, or gender identity. The more we collaborate to create something beautiful together, the more combinations we can forge.
